Practical planning
The details of your journey.
A route connected with Zurich
Standard operations have at least one endpoint in Zurich or its region. International journeys are considered individually for Germany, Austria, Italy, France and Liechtenstein. Share every address and stop; a route entirely outside the usual area needs a separate feasibility review.
Personal documents and border time
Travellers are responsible for checking the entry, transit and document requirements that apply to them and for carrying the required documents. The company does not provide a visa or entry guarantee. Build a practical buffer for border checks and road conditions; a fixed crossing or arrival time is not promised.
Agree the complete scope
The quote specifies the vehicle, route, relevant road charges, parking, stops and any waiting or driver schedule. Do not infer an international price from a Swiss destination tariff. Multi-day travel, overnight driver arrangements and return legs need an explicit complete quote.
Give the country for every stop
List each pickup, stop and destination with its country and postcode. Confirm traveller document requirements with the relevant authorities. The company reviews the transport itinerary; it does not guarantee admission at a border or provide immigration advice.
A quote for the complete journey
Agree the scope. Confirm the price.
The final price is quoted individually for the exact addresses, date, vehicle and full requirements. There is no published starting tariff for this service. Return journeys, extra stops and changed arrangements are priced separately.
Compare people, seats, luggage dimensions and equipment together. Published maxima are subject to availability and safe placement of the complete load.
For standard transfers the agreed price includes VAT, driver, fuel or electricity, standard road tolls, airport pickup parking, agreed Meet & Greet, flight tracking, luggage assistance and included waiting. Additional stops or changes may affect the quote. Special group and international programmes have individually confirmed inclusions.
International private transfers: confirm each border and final address
Cross-border journeys from Zurich or its region are individually reviewed rather than sold at an assumed universal kilometre rate. A transfer to Germany, France, Austria, Italy or Liechtenstein needs the country, complete destination address, passenger count, luggage and schedule. The company confirms the allowed itinerary and price; border requirements and documents remain the travellers’ responsibility.
What to include in your request
Give the destination country, exact road address, all planned stops and any return leg.
Identify passenger nationalities or travel-document questions to verify with the relevant official authorities.
List luggage or specialist equipment, and specify whether the driver needs to remain available abroad.
Which transfer should you choose?
Choose this service for an international road endpoint. A Swiss route ending in Lugano, Geneva or Basel does not automatically include an onward foreign leg.
Journeys connected with Zurich can be considered individually for Germany, Austria, Italy, France and Liechtenstein. The route, vehicle availability and conditions require confirmation.
Are entry documents arranged by the driver?
No. Travellers must check and carry the entry and transit documents required for their situation. Chris Trans does not guarantee admission at a border.
Does a Swiss starting tariff cover an international journey?
No. International routes are individually quoted for the full addresses, route, vehicle, stops and relevant charges.
Can I request a multi-day international itinerary?
Send the daily route, stops, passenger and luggage counts and any overnight requirements. Feasibility, price, waiting and cancellation terms are agreed individually.
When is my booking confirmed?
Chris Trans reviews your request and sends an explicit confirmation with the agreed vehicle, pickup time, itinerary and final price. A request or payment receipt is separate. The driver’s name and contact details arrive in a separate message later, before the journey.
