Request each child seat in advance

Tell the team each child’s age, height and weight and the seat or booster requested. Child seats are free by prior arrangement and must be confirmed with the vehicle. Do not assume that any chosen vehicle has unlimited room for seats, adults and luggage.

Count the pushchair as part of the load

Give folded pushchair dimensions and specify travel cots, large suitcases and cabin bags. The six-seat and seven-seat V-Class layouts are different configurations. Published luggage maxima remain subject to the full load and the proposed cabin arrangement.

Make the arrival instructions easy to follow

Supply the flight number, the travelling adult’s contact and the destination entrance. The agreed airport pickup includes flight monitoring, a personalised meeting sign and luggage assistance. Ordinary flight delays are monitored; a new flight number, cancellation, missed connection or diversion needs prompt contact.

Plan individual mobility needs

A folding wheelchair can be considered after dimensions and space are checked, and the passenger must be able to transfer to a standard vehicle seat. The fleet is not presented as having a ramp or lift for travel in an occupied wheelchair. Ask about the complete needs before confirmation.

Count every traveller and each seat requirement

Give the age, approximate height and weight of every child, including infants. State whether the pushchair folds and describe its packed size. Ask the team to confirm the seat types and the luggage layout together.

The final price is quoted individually for the exact addresses, date, vehicle and full requirements. There is no published starting tariff for this service. Return journeys, extra stops and changed arrangements are priced separately.

For standard transfers the agreed price includes VAT, driver, fuel or electricity, standard road tolls, airport pickup parking, agreed Meet & Greet, flight tracking, luggage assistance and included waiting. Additional stops or changes may affect the quote. Special group and international programmes have individually confirmed inclusions.

A practical answer for your journey

Family transfers with child-seat and stroller planning

Chris Trans can arrange child seats without an additional charge when the request is made in advance and the suitable seats are confirmed. The child’s age, height and weight matter, as does the full luggage load including pushchairs. A family reservation is confirmed only when the vehicle category, pickup, journey and final price are explicitly agreed.

What to include in your request

  • For every child, provide the age, height, weight and requested seat or booster type.
  • Count pushchairs, carrycots, cases, cabin bags and any other large item separately.
  • Include the flight number and any special arrival assistance requests for the team to review.

Which transfer should you choose?

Select a family transfer if child restraints and family luggage determine the required vehicle. Do not assume unlimited pram or baggage space.

Are child seats an extra charge?

Child seats are free with prior arrangement. Supply each child’s age, height and weight and obtain confirmation of the requested equipment before travel.

Is a pushchair included in the suitcase count?

Describe it separately with folded dimensions. The team checks pushchairs, seats and bags together; a published suitcase allowance does not automatically guarantee space for additional bulky items.

Can my child remain in a wheelchair inside the vehicle?

No ramp or lift service for an occupied wheelchair is offered. A folding wheelchair may be carried after a space check, with the passenger travelling in a standard seat.

What waiting is included?

For a standard transfer, airport pickup includes 90 minutes from actual landing and address pickup includes 30 minutes from the agreed time. Each started additional hour is E-Class 70 CHF, Tesla Model Y 70 CHF or V-Class 90 CHF, VAT included. Other categories and special group arrangements are confirmed individually. This is not an hourly chauffeur-hire tariff.

When is my booking confirmed?

Chris Trans reviews your request and sends an explicit confirmation with the agreed vehicle, pickup time, itinerary and final price. A request or payment receipt is separate. The driver’s name and contact details arrive in a separate message later, before the journey.
